Georgia High School Basketball - Cherokee overwhelms West Forsyth
December 19, 2023: Canton, GA 30114 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA) and the visiting West Forsyth Wolverines (Cumming, GA), saw Cherokee's basketball squad wallop West Forsyth by a count of 66-26.
With the victory, Cherokee upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Denmark (Alpharetta, GA) to play the in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Denmark won 63-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Walton (Marietta, GA)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Forsyth Central Bulldogs (Cumming, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 5. West Forsyth will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.
