Rhode Island High School Basketball - Cranston West fells La Salle Academy

Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI), 48-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Cranston West upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Falcons travel to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI) to play the Patriots in a Division 1 bout on Thursday, December 21. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Portsmouth won 47-35 in their recent league bout against Juanita Sanchez Complex (Providence, RI)

Next up, the Rams play the St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI) in a Division 1 bout, on Thursday, December 21. La Salle Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 70-51 league loss to South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI).
