Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) and the visiting Durham Academy Cavaliers (Durham, NC), saw Douglas Byrd's basketball squad overcome Durham Academy by a tally of 51-40.

With the victory, Douglas Byrd improves its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC) to confront the Golden Bulls in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Golden Bulls come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. E.E. Smith won 76-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Hoke County (Raeford, NC)

Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Terry Sanford Bulldogs (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Durham Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record.
