December 19, 2023: Saddle River, NJ 07458 The Saddle River Day Rebels basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting Emerson Cavaliers to 28 in the Rebels league victory on Tuesday.
The Rebels now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waldwick for a Freelance contest on Wednesday, December 20. Saddle River Day will battle a Warriors team coming off a 37-27 league loss to Cresskill (Cresskill, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.
The Cavaliers (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Park Ridge (Park Ridge, NJ). The Owls enter the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Park Ridge crushed Midland Park (Midland Park, NJ), 56-16, in a non-league match.
