Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbrook South nips Prospect
December 19, 2023: Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Glenbrook South Titans (Glenview, IL) and the host Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL), saw Glenbrook South's basketball squad hold off Prospect by a count of 55-49.
With the victory, Glenbrook South upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Titans host Deerfield (Deerfield, IL) to play the Warriors in a Central Suburban - South challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-10. Deerfield lost 59-33 in their recent league challenge against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL)
Next up, the Knights play the Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - East challenge, on Friday, December 22. Prospect will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Grenadiers come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 43-34 league win over Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL).
