December 19, 2023: Pecos, TX 79772 The Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Sanderson Eagles (Sanderson, TX), 65-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Seminole (Seminole, TX). The Indians go into the 4A Region I District 3 test with a 16-3 record. In their last test, Seminole walloped San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX), 76-44, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Comstock for a 1A Region II District 10 test on Thursday, December 21. Sanderson will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 32-12 non-league loss to Van Horn (Van Horn, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
