New Mexico High School Basketball - Moriarty overwhelmed by Albuquerque Academy
December 19, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87109 The Albuquerque Academy Chargers basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Moriarty Pintos to 29 in the Chargers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Chargers now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandia for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Albuquerque Academy will battle a Matadors team coming off a 74-52 non-league win over Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 3-4.
The Pintos (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Dons come into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, West Las Vegas triumphed over Cuba (Cuba, NM), 71-60, in a non-league contest.
