Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA), 44-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Austintown-Fitch upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Falcons host South Range (Canfield, OH) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Hickory will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
