Florida High School Basketball - Lake Nona tops University
December 19, 2023: Orlando, FL 32817 Lake Nona Lions (Orlando, FL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host University Cougars (Orlando, FL), 67-58 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lake Nona upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to East River (Orlando, FL) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Cougars play the Winter Park Wildcats (Winter Park, FL) in a bout, on Thursday, December 21. University will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 54-50 non-league win over Dr. Phillips (Orlando, FL).
