Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX), 68-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Veterans Memorial upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Pieper (San Antonio, TX) to play the Warriors in a bout on Saturday, December 30. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Pieper won 78-60 in their recent non-league bout against Medina Valley (Castroville, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Medina Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
