Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA) and the visiting Monte Vista Christian Mustangs (Watsonville, CA), saw Stevenson's basketball squad hold off Monte Vista Christian by a tally of 55-51.

With the victory, Stevenson improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host St. Francis (Watsonville, CA) to confront the Sharks in a challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Sharks come into the challenge with a record of 1-4.
