Illinois High School Basketball - Alcott bests Roosevelt
December 19, 2024: Chicago, IL 60625 The Alcott Wildcats basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Roosevelt Rough Riders to 55 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Juarez for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Alcott will play a Eagles team coming off a 70-0 league win over Spry Community Links (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Roosevelt falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Rough riders travel to DeKalb (DeKalb, IL) to play the Barbs in a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. The Barbs go into the game with a record of 1-4. DeKalb lost 53-39 in their recent league game against Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL)
