In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Corning Cardinals basketball team scored a big 55-26 triumph over the Willows Honkers.

The Cardinals (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Enterprise (Redding, CA). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Enterprise smashed Bear River (Grass Valley, CA), 70-49, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Honkers battle the Los Molinos Bulldogs (Los Molinos, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Willows will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 59-55 non-league loss to Princeton (Princeton, CA).
