In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Crescenta Valley Falcons basketball team scored a close 57-54 win over the Golden Valley Grizzlies.

The Falcons (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Littlerock (Littlerock, CA). The Lobos come into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Littlerock was tipped by Canyon (Canyon Country, CA), 64-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Gardena Panthers (Gardena, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Golden Valley will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 51-48 non-league loss to Whittier (Whittier, CA).
