In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Don Bosco Prep Ironmen basketball team scored a good 78-70 triumph over the Northern Highlands Highlanders.

The Ironmen (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Teaneck (Teaneck, NJ). The Highwaymen go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Teaneck topped Passaic (Passaic, NJ), 83-58, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Highlanders confront the Union City Soaring Eagles (Union City, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21.
