Alabama High School Basketball - Escambia County overwhelms South Choctaw Academy
December 19, 2024: Atmore, AL 36502 The Escambia County Blue Devils basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting South Choctaw Academy Rebels to 21 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Blue Devils now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Charles Henderson for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Escambia County will confront a Trojans team coming off a 69-35 non-league win over Barbour County (Clayton, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 9-5.
With the loss, South Choctaw Academy falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Rebels host Escambia Academy (Atmore, AL) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 10-2. Escambia Academy won 64-52 in their recent non-league game against Oak Park Christian (Mobile, AL)
