Texas High School Basketball - Garland Christian Academy trounced by Prince of Peace
December 19, 2024: Carrollton, TX 75007 Prince of Peace Eagles (Carrollton, TX) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Garland Christian Academy Swordsmen (Garland, TX), 81-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Prince of Peace advances its record to 5-12 on the year. The Eagles travel to Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 13-10.
The Swordsmen (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool (Fort Worth, TX). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 16-3 record. In their last test, Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool bounced St. Stephen's Episcopal (Austin, TX), 69-30, in a non-league test.
