Iowa High School Basketball - Sheldon overwhelms George-Little Rock
December 19, 2024: George, IA 51237 The Sheldon Orabs basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host George-Little Rock Mustangs to 31 in the Orabs league triumph on Thursday.
The Orabs now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Okoboji for a Siouxland game on Friday, December 20. Sheldon will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 73-59 league loss to Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, George-Little Rock falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA) to confront the Jays in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Jays go into the game with a record of 4-4. Gehlen Catholic won 55-44 in their recent non-league game against Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA)
