Kentucky High School Basketball - Mercer County overwhelms Harrison County
December 19, 2024: Harrodsburg, KY 40330 The Mercer County Titans basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Harrison County Thorobreds to 32 in the Titans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Titans now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Tates Creek for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Mercer County will confront a Commodores team coming off a 77-40 non-league loss to Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Commodores record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Harrison County falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Thorobreds host Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY) to confront the Braves in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Braves go into the contest with a record of 3-2. Grant County won 83-69 in their recent non-league contest against Western Hills (Frankfort, KY)
