Missouri High School Basketball - Capital City fells Warrensburg
December 19, 2024: Jefferson City, MO 65109 The Capital City Cavaliers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Warrensburg Tigers to 45 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cavaliers now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Battle for a Central Missouri game on Friday, December 27. Capital City will confront a Spartans team coming off a 39-36 non-league win over Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO). The Spartans record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Warrensburg falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to California (California, MO) to confront the Pintos in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Pintos go into the game with a record of 5-2. California won 66-51 in their recent league game against Southern Boone (Ashland, MO)
