California High School Basketball - West Valley thwarts Cathedral City
December 19, 2024: Cathedral City, CA 92234 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA) and the host Cathedral City Lions (Cathedral City, CA), observed West Valley's basketball team knock off Cathedral City by a score of 43-26.
The Mustangs (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 3-8 record.
In their next game, the Lions encounter the Desert Mirage RAMS (Thermal, CA) in a Desert Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Cathedral City will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The RAMS come into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 56-10 non-league loss to Coachella Valley (Thermal, CA).
