Minnesota High School Basketball - Chisholm holds off Hibbing
December 19, 2024: Hibbing, MN 55746 The Chisholm Bluestreaks basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Hibbing Bluejackets to 52 in the Bluestreaks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bluestreaks now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida for a A Section 7 game on Friday, December 27. Chisholm will confront a Ogichida team coming off a 72-32 non-league loss to East Central (Sandstone, MN). The Ogichida record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, Hibbing falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Bluejackets host Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 0-8.
