In Thursday's non-league test, the Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA) basketball squad defeated the visiting Covington Lions (Covington, LA), by a final score of 56-39.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Franklinton Demons (Franklinton, LA) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 20. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Demons come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 30-27 non-league loss to Sumner (Kentwood, LA).

The Lions (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Northlake Christian (Covington, LA). The Wolverines come into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Northlake Christian overcame Pearl River (Pearl River, LA), 52-42, in a non-league test.
