New Mexico High School Basketball - Dexter thwarts Reserve

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM) and the visiting Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM), observed Dexter's basketball team knock off Reserve by a score of 41-29.

The Demons (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Buffaloes come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Melrose prevailed over Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM), 60-22, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mountaineers encounter the Cloudcroft Bears (Cloudcroft, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Reserve will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 44-37 non-league loss to Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM).
