December 19, 2024: Scottsbluff, NE 69361 The East Thunderbirds (Cheyenne, WY) basketball crushed the host Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE), 45-17 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Thunderbirds now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Thomas More for a non-league bout on Friday, December 20. East will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 66-24 non-league win over Worland (Worland, WY). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Scottsbluff falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Kearney (Kearney, NE) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 21.
