The El Rancho Dons basketball squad (Pico Rivera, CA), was nudged 52-51 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Spring Valley Grizzlies (Las Vegas, NV)

With the victory, Spring Valley advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Cimarron-Memorial (Las Vegas, NV) to meet the Spartans in a non-league battle on Friday, December 20. The Spartans enter the battle with a record of 6-3. Cimarron-Memorial won 54-18 in their recent non-league battle against Clark (Las Vegas, NV)

The Dons now own a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paramount for a non-league battle on Friday, December 20. El Rancho will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 71-34 non-league win over King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 6-2.
