Enka Jets (Enka, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC), 45-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Enka upgrades its record to 4-6 on the year. The Jets travel to Mitchell (Bakersville, NC) to face the Mountaineers in a non-league match on Monday, December 23. The Mountaineers enter the match with a record of 4-3. Mitchell lost 49-33 in their recent non-league match against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC)
