December 19, 2024: Jemez Pueblo, NM 87024 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM) and the host Jemez Valley Warrior (Jemez Pueblo, NM), observed Tohatchi's basketball team overwhelm Jemez Valley by a score of 50-11.
The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Broncos come into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Kirtland Central trounced Valencia (Los Lunas, NM), 56-48, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warrior encounter the Jal Panthers (Jal, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Jemez Valley will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 47-32 non-league loss to Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM).
