Illinois High School Basketball - Larkin fells McHenry
December 19, 2024: McHenry, IL 60050 The Larkin Royals basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host McHenry Warriors to 36 in the Royals non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Royals now have a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Elgin for a Upstate Eight game on Friday, December 20. Larkin will confront a Maroons team coming off a 71-38 league loss to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 4-8.
With the loss, McHenry falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Warriors host Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL) to confront the Skyhawks in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Skyhawks go into the game with a record of 7-5. Johnsburg lost 45-42 in their recent non-league game against Plano (Plano, IL)
