December 19, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70122 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) and the host McDonogh 35 Roneagles (New Orleans, LA), observed St. Charles Catholic's basketball team knock off McDonogh 35 by a score of 36-24.
The Comets (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Northshore (Slidell, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Northshore prevailed over Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA), 42-39, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Roneagles encounter the Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks (Metairie, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 19. McDonogh 35 will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Chipmunks come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 53-47 non-league win over South Lafourche (Galliano, LA).
