Vermont High School Basketball - Woodstock triumphant over Stowe
December 19, 2024: Woodstock, VT 05091 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT) and the visiting Stowe Raiders (Stowe, VT), observed Woodstock's basketball team overwhelm Stowe by a margin of 46-23.
The Wasps (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hartford (White River Junction, VT). The Hurricanes come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Hartford was trounced by St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT), 57-27, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Richford Falcons (Richford, VT) in a Mountain challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Stowe will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 39-36 non-league loss to Milton (Milton, VT).
