Florida High School Soccer - DeLand toppled by Oviedo
December 19, 2024: Oviedo, FL 32765 Oviedo Lions (Oviedo, FL) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting DeLand Bulldogs (DeLand, FL), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Oviedo advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Freedom (Orlando, FL) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league test on Thursday, January 16. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 4-6.
The Bulldogs now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seabreeze for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 7. DeLand will clash with a Sandcrabs team coming off a 2-2 non-league Spruce Creek (Port Orange, FL). The Sandcrabs record now stands at 1-2.
