Florida High School Basketball - Apopka holds off Wekiva
December 19, 2024: Apopka, FL 32712 The Apopka Blue Darters basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Wekiva Mustangs to 39 in the Blue Darters non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Blue Darters now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they host South Lake for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Apopka will confront a Eagles team coming off a 40-35 non-league win over Legacy Charter (Ocoee, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Wekiva falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Tavares (Tavares, FL) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 15. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 3-3.
