California High School Basketball - Vintage holds off Piner
December 19, 2024: Napa, CA 94558 The Vintage Crushers basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Piner Prospectors to 49 in the Crushers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Crushers now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to San Marin for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Vintage will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 60-36 non-league win over Averroes (Fremont, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Piner falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Prospectors host Analy (Sebastopol, CA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 9-1. Analy won 63-51 in their recent non-league game against Armijo (Fairfield, CA)
