December 19, 2024: Chatsworth, CA 91311 St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Sierra Canyon Trailblazers (Chatsworth, CA), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy moves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA) to clash with the Dons in a non-league test on Thursday, December 26. The Dons come into the test with a record of 7-5. El Rancho lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Nogales (La Puente, CA)
The Trailblazers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Campbell Hall for a non-league test on Friday, January 3. Sierra Canyon will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to AGBU (Canoga Park, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-3.
