The Butte County Pirates defeated the visiting Valley Vikings basketball squad by a final score of 51-40 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Pirates clash with the Richfield Tigers (Richfield, ID) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 3. Butte County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Tigers come into the outing with a 3-3 record after their 58-43 non-league loss to Rimrock (Bruneau, ID).
