December 19, 2025: Houston, TX 77053 Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles (Houston, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Lee Ganders (Baytown, TX), 55-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Fort Bend Willowridge advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The Eagles host Terry (Rosenberg, TX) to face the Rangers in a non-league match on Monday, December 22. The Rangers enter the match with a record of 3-9. Terry lost 50-32 in their recent non-league match against Pasadena (Pasadena, TX)
The Ganders now own a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nederland for a 5A Region III District 19 match on Friday, January 2. Lee will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 49-27 non-league loss to Bridge City (Bridge City, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-4.
