Nebraska High School Basketball - Pierce toppled by Scotus

Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE), 65-54 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Scotus upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Shamrocks travel to Roncalli Catholic (Omaha, NE) to confront the Crimson Pride in a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 23. The Crimson Pride go into the contest with a record of 4-0. Roncalli Catholic won 80-51 in their recent non-league contest against Lincoln Northwest (Lincoln, NE)

In their next game, the Bluejays confront the Lutheran-Northeast Eagles (Norfolk, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 2. Pierce will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record.
