Arizona High School Basketball - Sahuaro tops Amphitheater

December 2, 2021: Tucson, AZ 85705

Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Amphitheater Panthers (Tucson, AZ), 58-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sahuaro upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ) to play the Red Wolves in a non-league bout on Friday, December 3. The Red Wolves come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Walden Grove lost 56-51 in their recent non-league bout against Cholla (Tucson, AZ)

Next up, the Panthers play the Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Amphitheater will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
