Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX) and the visiting Rouse Raiders (Leander, TX), saw Miller's basketball squad hold off Rouse by a tally of 63-57.

With the victory, Miller improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 2. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-0.

Next up, the Raiders play the Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 2. Rouse will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 49-42 non-league loss to Brackenridge (San Antonio, TX).
