Oregon High School Basketball - Colton nips Taft
December 2, 2021: Colton, OR 97017 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Colton Vikings (Colton, OR) and the visiting Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR), saw Colton's basketball squad hold off Taft by a tally of 40-36.
With the victory, Colton improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host Western Christian (Salem, OR) to play the Pioneers in a 2A Tri-River challenge on Wednesday, December 15. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 3-0.
Next up, the Tigers play the Scio Loggers (Scio, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 3. Taft will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
