December 2, 2021: Vestavia Hills, AL 35216 The Vestavia Hills Rebels basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Grissom Tigers to 37 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rebels now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Homewood for a non-league contest on Friday, December 3. Vestavia Hills will meet a Patriots team coming off a 55-40 non-league loss to Pelham (Pelham, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 7-2.
The Tigers (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Athens (Athens, AL). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Athens was routed by Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL), 62-54, in a non-league contest.
