In Thursday's non-league match, the host Sahuaro Cougars basketball team scored a good 58-40 triumph over the Amphitheater Panthers.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Walden Grove Red Wolves (Sahuarita, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 3. Sahuaro will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Red Wolves enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 44-24 non-league win over Cholla (Tucson, AZ).
