December 2, 2022: Vandalia, IL 62471 The Altamont Indians basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Vandalia Vandals to 55 in the Indians non-league victory on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Altamont will battle a Eagles team coming off a 61-39 league win over Paris (Paris, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
The Vandals (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Farina South Central (Farina, IL). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Farina South Central prevailed over Ramsey (Ramsey, IL), 67-58, in a non-league contest.
