Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX) and the visiting Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX), saw Amarillo's basketball squad overcome Coronado by a tally of 56-38.

With the victory, Amarillo improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Sandies travel to The Colony (The Colony, TX) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 3. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. The Colony won 55-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Abilene (Abilene, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 3. Coronado will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 56-41 non-league loss to Coronado (El Paso, TX).
