Alabama High School Basketball - Susan Moore nips Appalachian
December 2, 2022: Oneonta, AL 35121 Susan Moore Bulldogs (Blountsville, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL), 65-60 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Susan Moore upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Brindlee Mountain (Guntersville, AL) to play the Lions in a 3A Area 13 bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Brindlee Mountain lost 67-30 in their recent non-league bout against Brewer (Somerville, AL)
Next up, the Eagles play the Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles (Birmingham, AL) in a 1A Area 10 bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Appalachian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 60-33 league loss to Talladega County Central (Talladega, AL).
