Oklahoma High School Basketball - Atoka nips Holdenville
December 2, 2022: Atoka, OK 74525 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Atoka Wampus Cats (Atoka, OK) and the visiting Holdenville Wolverines (Holdenville, OK), saw Atoka's basketball squad hold off Holdenville by a tally of 59-58.
With the victory, Atoka improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Wampus Cats host Calera (Calera, OK) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
Next up, the Wolverines play the McLoud Redskins (McLoud, OK) in a 66 challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Holdenville will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 73-32 league win over Okemah (Okemah, OK).
