Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Boys' Home Hilltoppers (Covington, VA), 44-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Covenant upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Grace Christian (Staunton, VA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Grace Christian won 67-34 in their recent non-league bout against Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA)
