December 2, 2022: Cedar Key, FL 32625 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Countryside Christian Minutemen (Gainesville, FL) and the host Cedar Key Sharks (Cedar Key, FL), saw Countryside Christian's basketball squad hold off Cedar Key by a tally of 45-40.
With the victory, Countryside Christian improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Branford (Branford, FL) to confront the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 5. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Branford won 54-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Dixie County (Cross City, FL)
Next up, the Sharks confront the Bronson Eagles (Bronson, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 5. Cedar Key will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 67-18 non-league loss to Newberry (Newberry, FL).
