Coconut Creek Cougars (Coconut Creek, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Forest Hill Falcons (West Palm Beach, FL), 53-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Coconut Creek upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Hollywood Hills (Hollywood, FL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, December 5. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Hollywood Hills lost 59-33 in their recent non-league bout against Pompano Beach (Pompano Beach, FL)

Next up, the Falcons play the Glades Central Raiders (Belle Glade, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Forest Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 74-53 non-league win over Seminole Ridge (Loxahatchee, FL).
